If it isn't already on your travel bucket list, you should seriously consider Croatia as a destination. The food is amazing (and quite inexpensive), the people are proud and the landscape is breathtaking. My trip begun in Zagreb. We rented a car and drove down to Split, with many stops in between. The landscape varies from Old castles in the north to the party beaches of the south.
If you plan your trip in the summer time, I would highly recommend coordinating with you friends and renting boat with Yacht Week!

What stood out most to me in Croatia with the quality and freshness of their cheeses. So whatever you do, eat a lot of cheese! (unless you are lactose intolerant... !!!)
If you are fortunate enough to make it to a beautiful little island called Hvar, you MUST go for lunch at TOTO's. This will be the view from your table. BEST BRUSCHETTA OF MY LIFE!

If you're in Croatia and you want to party... YACHT WEEK is what you're looking for! You and 8 friends, on a private yacht with your own captain. Not to mention about 100 other yachts trailing not too far behind. There are no two ways about it...These guys throw the biggest parties around! I highly recommend the Croatia South Route.
